A Fruit Smoothie ... Packed With Nutrition And Heavy Metal Detoxing Ingredients!

I add four of the five ingredients needed to detox heavy metals from the body safely - spirulina, barley grass juice powder, wild blueberry powder (frozen or both) and dulse flakes. The fifth ingredient, fresh cilantro, I like to eat through the day on my meals so I leave it out. But feel free to include it if you want the powerhouse version. I include different fruits, depending on the season, what I have and often a combination of frozen and fresh fruits. I like a combination of sweet and tart fruits to give me a drink with a little tartness on top of a sweet base. Experiment and find out what you like most.

This smoothie is good for you but best of all it tastes great and if you use the fruits YOU love, you can tailor it to your tastes and make it an extra special treat in the morning for breakfast or in the afternoon for a pick me up.

Makes 1 serving, about 2 1/4 cups.

Fruit Smoothie

ngredients

1/2 banana (or frozen mango)

1/3 cup frozen wild blueberries

1 fresh date, pit removed

1/4 cup frozen organic raspberries (or strawberries)

1/4 cup frozen chemical free grapes (or frozen organic dragonfruit, pomegranate seeds or cranberries)

5-6 frozen blackberries (or frozen organic pineapple)

2 tsp Vimergy spirulina

2 tsp Vimergy barley grass juice powder

2 tsp Vimergy wild blueberry powder

1 tsp dulse flakes

1-2 cups organic, pure coconut water (or filtered water) (add the amount for the thickness you prefer)

Method

Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender. Make sure you remove any pits from your dates or fresh fruit you may include. Run the smoothie twice especially if you include pomegranate seeds or blackberries to help the seeds break down fully.
