Day 7 ... The Medical Medium 3:6:9 Advanced Cleanse

On day 7, starting the last three days of the cleanse, there is a change. We drink two celery juices each day, one 30 minutes after our lemon water first thing in the morning and again in the later afternoon when our stomach is empty after lunch. After both, we wait for thirty minutes before consuming anything else.

Everything else remains the same. Lunch and dinner are a variety of raw salads, nori wraps or a liver smoothie. Snacks, if we are hungry after our meals are apples or pears.

Today, I highlight nori salad wraps made with cos lettuce leaves and raw veggies.

Serves one.

Nori Salad Wraps

Ingredients

3 pieces of nori seaweed, lightly toasted or placed in the sun

6 leaves of cos lettuce, washed, spun and air dried

1-2 organic, ripe tomatoes

1 cucumber, ends trimmed and peeled

1/4-1/2 orange pepper, stem and seeds removed

3-4 green onions, washed, spun, air dried

handful of cilantro

generous pinch of fresh mint leaves

Method

Slice and chop the tomatoes, cucumbers and red pepper. Finely slice the green onions and finely chop the cilantro and mint. Add everything to a bowl and mix well.

Lay a piece of nori seaweed on a sushi mat. Place two cos lettuce leaves down on the nori. Top the lettuce with the salad mixture and roll like a sushi roll. Dip a finger in water to dampen the farthest edge and seal. Place the roll on a wooden cutting board and slice in two with a sharp, clean, dry knife.

Place on a serving plate. Repeat with all three sheets of nori sheets until you have 6 nori salad rolls.

Serve and eat right away.
